Below you will find this year's pre-conference workshops where experts will give hands-on workshops for half a day of focused learning on various subjects.
The workshops runs in three parallel tracks with three workshops in the morning and three in the afternoon. Each with a limited number of seats. "First come, first served" applies....

Make Any Design Work in CMSMS™

Creating modules and plugins for CMSMS™ 1.8 and beyond

Summary: Presented by members of the CMSMS™ core team, this workshop will show users with PHP development experience how to extend the system to meet their custom needs. Includes information on modifying modules to be prepared for the release of CMSMS™ 2.0 later this year.

jQuery, CMSMS™ and You

Site Optimization and Javascript with CMSMS™

Area: Development - Level: Intermediate - Time: 13.30 - 17.00

Summary: A two part workshop. First, we'll cover the basics of jQuery integration in CMS Made Simple™ using various examples. Then, the topic will turn to site optimization -- producing sites in CMSMS™ that are light, powerful and robust.

We've posted a preliminary schedule for everyone to see. We've tried our best to make the presentations varied and useful to all different levels of experience, while still making sure they're hosted by members of the community who know their stuff.
